Shipping policy

1.Dispatch times

Once you have placed your order, your package will be shipped within 2-4 working days. You will receive an email notification when your order has been shipped.

Shipping times also lengthen in the run up to Christmas (from mid October to December). Updates are provided on the website and also on social media during these busier times.

If you are looking to receive your purchase by a specific date, please enquire in advance to make sure we can get your package out to you in time.

All orders are shipped via An Post, Irelands national postal service

2. National shipping

Shipping rates are calculated by weight and the total will be provided at checkout. Postage rates of €7 (in Ireland) are for bulky parcels (larger orders containing multiple prints, or large numbers of greeting cards) and include tracking. This will automatically be calculated at checkout, and applied where suitable. 

There is free shipping in Ireland on orders over €60. The discount is automatically applied at checkout, no code is needed. This covers one free shipment to one address.  

If you would like to request your order to be sent by express or registered post, please get in touch with us before you order.

3. International shipping

Orders are sent via standard post through the Irish postal service (An Post). If you would like to add tracking or registered post, please get in touch before ordering so that the additional postage charge can be added to the order for you. 

4. Custom Duties, Taxes and Import Fees

Orders shipped outside of Ireland may be subject to import duties, tariffs, taxes or other fees imposed by the destination country's custom authorities. These charges are not included in the item price listed on the website, or shipping cost displayed at checkout. 

The recipient of the shipment (the Customer) is solely responsible for paying any such customs duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or handling charges that may be applied once the package arrives in their country.

This studio (Deborah Maguire) is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. This studio (Deborah Maguire) is not responsible for any delays, refusals, or additional costs arising from customs processing. If a package is refused or returned due to unpaid customs fees, the original order cost and shipping cost will not be refunded. 

By placing an order for delivery outside of Ireland, you acknowledge and agree to accept responsibility for all import-related charges that may apply. 

5. How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification from this studio. If your order included tracking this email will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days (or 14-21 if overseas) of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@deborahmaguire.ie with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Delivery times will vary and usually increase significantly during the Christmas period. Please check An Post website for more information.

6. Lost Packages

If you have not received your package 10 working days after your order was shipped (regular post, within Ireland), we ask you to take the following steps: 

* Check with your neighbours, or front desk (if applicable in a workplace) to see if the package was left there 

* Check with your local post office to see if it has been left at a pick up point 

* Contact hello@deborahmaguire.ie and include your order number 

Please note, this studio is not responsible for refunding or reshipping lost orders due to an incorrect address entered at the time of ordering, or for reshipping orders which were not collected by the customer at their local mail centre (when a notice has been left by the delivery person).
