What to expect in each session
Session 1: Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra
In this class you can expect a slow, deeply nourishing experience designed to help your body and mind fully unwind.
We’ll begin with a short Restorative Yoga, using supportive props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks to gently hold the body in comfortable postures, allowing the nervous system to settle, muscles to release tension, and the body to shift into a state of deep rest.
The class will then transition into Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation often called “yogic sleep.” While lying comfortably, you’ll be guided through a series of awareness practices that encourage profound relaxation while the mind remains gently aware. This practice helps reduce stress, improve sleep, and leave you feeling calm, grounded, and restored.
Session 2: Sound Bath with Crystal Singing Bowls
In this session you can expect a deeply immersive and meditative experience through sound. You’ll be invited to lie down comfortably while crystal singing bowls are played. The bowls produce gentle, resonant tones and vibrations that wash over the body, helping to quiet the mind and calm the nervous system.
As the sound unfolds, many people find themselves naturally drifting into a meditative state where the body can rest deeply and the mind becomes still. The vibrations can help release tension, support emotional balance, and create a sense of spaciousness and ease.
There is nothing you need to do during the session—simply lie back, get comfortable, and allow the sounds to guide you into a state of deep rest and relaxation.
Please note, this is not suitable for 1st trimester of pregnancy, sound induced epilepsy, and those who use pacemakers.
Session 3: Slow Floor-based Practice
This is a slow, quiet practice that focuses on longer-held, floor-based postures designed to gently open the body and calm the mind.
Rather than moving continuously, you’ll settle into each pose for several minutes, allowing the muscles to soften so the deeper connective tissues can gradually release. The pace is unhurried, creating space to observe the breath, notice sensations in the body, and cultivate patience and stillness.
Props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets may be used to support comfort, helping you relax into each posture without strain. The overall experience is meditative and introspective—an opportunity to slow down, turn inward, and allow both body and mind to unwind...a gentle yet deeply effective way to unwind and reconnect with yourself.
No prior experience is needed for any of the sessions. Simply come in comfortable clothing and be ready to rest, reset, and recharge.
